YOU COULD BE NEXT!!

Start your Engines!
Before you can turn a wheel on the track, you will need to become a member of the Batavia Mini-Indy Series, For $149.99 you will have a membership, which will allow you to compete in the Mini-Indy Race Series, as well as attend the ever-important practice events. Each Mini-Indy race or practice event that you wish to attend will only cost $32.00 + your $8.00 insurance pass.

Practice, Practice, Practice!
Just like Nascar, practice is an essential component to winning. Prior to the start of the race season, you will be able to get some practice time on the track during designated times. There will also be time slots available during the race season to get that last bit of practice in. Learning the track and equipment better than your competition will help you make it to the winner's circle first.

The Equipment
Batavia Mini-Indy provides you with the finest real race vehicle possible. The karts you will be driving are the very same equipment used world wide in competition and used to begin the careers of superstars like Al Unser Jr., Michael Andretti, Scott Goodyear, Scott Pruitt and so many others. All of the equipment you will compete on is available through our catalogue mail order service or at our fully stocked retail outlets if you wish to begin professional competition. The "Mike Wilson" brand chassis you will be driving, use only the highest quality billet aluminum components on a chromemoly tube frame. The motors are Briggs & Stratton Racing Engines, tuned to achieve maximum performance.

And the Winner is?
Well, now you're well on your way to the winner's circle, but what next? There is a Thursday and Friday Night League. Each night runs as a separate league, with 14 - 16 races scheduled for each during the race season. You attend the races you can, but the more you attend the better you will do in the year-end championship points tally. The winners from each night's league will compete in a year-end shootout to crown the Batavia Mini-Indy Champion! And don't forget, we race rain or shine!

The Batavia Circuit
Almost four decades ago, a Rochester native named Tom Kelly designed and built the race course that in later years would come to bear his name. This challenging circuit has been host to more national karting championship events than any other race track in the sport. Eight Years ago, Romeo Motorsports purchased this magnificent facility and did a full ground up renovation, bothy on and off the track. This world class circuit stretches over 3/4's of a mile through the beautiful green western New York countryside. The first impression of this magnificent facility is often how "park like" and tranquil the area looks. The many elevation changes featuring manicured grounds reminding one of a country club golf course rather than a race track, even at night under the lights. Walk through the paddock in the footsteps of names like Scott Goodyear, Lake Speed, Scott Pruitt and so many others who began their careers in Batavia, New York.
